In order to solve the problems of viscosity increase and deterioration of rheological properties of solid propellant slur-ry caused by replacing Al powder with AlH3,the effects of AlH3 content on the rheological properties of solid propellant slurry,such as viscosity,dynamic modulus,thixotropy and temperature,were studied by rheological test method.The results show that there is a strong positive correlation between the apparent viscosity of the propellant slurry and the content of AlH3;when the shear rate of the propellant slurry with 16%AlH3 content is higher than the critical shear rate,the phenomenon of"melt rupture"occurs;the addition of AlH3 can increase the storage modulus of the propellant slurry,enhance its reversible elastic deformation and im-prove its thixotropy;the higher the AlH3 content is,the smaller the shear rate index and the activation energy of viscosity are,and the lower the viscosity sensitivity of propellant slurry to the shear rate and temperature is;when the content of AlH3 is 8%,the vis-cosity activation energy decreases with the increase of AlH3 content;when the content of AlH3 is higher than 8%,the viscosity ac-tivation energy of the slurry does not change with the content of AlH3.
