The effect of copper content varying from 0%to 1.77%on the microstructure and properties of T122 heat resistant steel was investigated. The results show that the increase of copper content in the steel leads to the decrease of δ-ferrite amount. The strength at room temperature and high temperature increase obviously.Creep rupture strength and high temperature strength after aging are improved evidently with the increase of copper con-tent,and steel with copper 0.90%content have the optimal matching between strength and plasticity.
