Research progress on precipitates of Fe-Mn-Al-C lightweight high-strength steel
Fe-Mn-Al-C lightweight steel has low density and excellent mechanical properties,and has broad application prospects in transportation,energy and chemical industry and aerospace.This series of steel grades contains a variety of precipitated phases such as:κ-carbide((Fe,Mn)3 AlC),β-Mn,B2(FeAl)and DO3(Fe3Al),etc.,which directly determine its comprehensive performance and service life.The types and precipitation mechanisms of precipitated phases of Fe-Mn-Al-C light steel were reviewed,and the influence of alloying elements and heat treatment system on precipitated phases was discussed,which provided guidance for the regulation and toughening of precipitated phases in Fe-Mn-Al-C steel.
