Research Advances in Soil Microbial Diversity and its Impact Factors
Soil microbial diversity is an indicator of species and genes of microbial in the soil ecosystem and their competitive interactions with the environment. The current study in this field is focused mainly on species diversity genetic diversity, structural diversity and functional diversity. This paper reviewed the research methods of soil microbial diversity and the application of high-throughput sequencing technology. The paper also reviewed the environment factors that affect the soil microbial diversity. The potential of application of soil microbial diversity on ecosystem function and climate change was summarized and discussed.
