Research on Identification of Regional Functional Types and Development Path in Shandong Province
The article analyses the characteristics of the spatial pattern of four types of functions,namely,agricultural production,non-agricultural production,social security and ecological services in 90 counties and districts of Shandong Province in 2020,and quantitatively identifies the dominant types of functions by constructing the evaluation index system of territorial functions,and by adopting the ArcGIS natural fracture point grading method.The study shows that,(1)the geographical function difference and spatial agglomeration features are obvious,the non-agricultural production and social security functions have similarity in spatial distribution,the two types of function indexes are higher in the eastern coastal and along the Jiaoji,the areas with higher agricultural production functions are concentrated in the northwestern part of the provincial capital economic circle and the western part of the Lunan Economic Circle,and the eco-service functions are higher in the Jiaodong hilly area,the Tailuyi hilly area,and the areas along the Yellow River and the Canal.(2)The types of territorial functions can be divided into seven categories,and different types of counties and districts have different development paths.Agricultural production-led,weakly integrated counties are important agricultural production areas;non-agricultural production-led,strongly integrated,non-agricultural production-social security-type counties are key areas for county economic development;ecological service-led,social security-ecological services-type counties are the mainstay of the ecological protection pattern.
