Response of Vegetation Carbon Storage to Land Use Change in the Sanjiang Plain
Based on four periods of TM and MODIS NDVI remote sensing data in 2001,2005,2010 and 2015,by using remote sensing,GIS technology and model estimation methods, the temporal and spatial changes of land use types and carbon storage in the growing season in the Sanjiang Plain were analyzed, and the impact of land use changes on vegetation carbon storage was explored. The results show that,(1)the areas of cultivated land and construction land generally show an increasing trend, the areas of forest land, grassland, unused land and water area generally show a decreasing trend.(2)The conversion between various land use types is frequent. The cultivated land increased the most, mainly from unused land, forest land and grassland.Secondly, the construction land mainly came from the transfer of cultivated land. The reduction of forest land and grassland areas mainly flowed to cultivated land.(3)From 2001 to 2015,the vegetation carbon storage in the Sanjiang Plain generally showed an increasing trend, showing a"carbon sink"for the vegetation in the study area.Overall, forest land in the Sanjiang Plain has the greatest correlation with the vegetation carbon storage in this region and plays a dominant role in carbon sequestration.
