Optimization of Urban Tourism Spatial Structure of Liaoxi Corridor Based on Pole-Axis System Theory
According to the theory of Pole-Axis, this paper intends to analyze and optimize the urban tourism spatial structure along Liaoxi Corridor by working on the characteristics of local tourism development space from 2000 to 2010. The study shows that tourism development of Liaoxi Corridor is relatively strong, but regional development is not balanced and cooperation is needed. Tourism development of Panjin City and Jinzhou City has developed more rapidly than other cities, such as Chaoyang and Fuxin. Based on space distribution of regional nodes and development axis and characteristics of tourism resources, this paper constructs the tourism spatial structure system of Liaoxi Corridor and suggests that Liaoxi Corridor should build waterfront leisure and cultural experience tourist areas so as to promote the coordinated development of regional tourism.
