Geological Resources Survey and Geoscience Significance in Laoniuwan National Geopark,Qingshuihe County from Inner Mongolia
Laoniuwan National Geopark ,Qingshuihe County from Inner Mongolia features water erosion , accumulation landforms ,water landscape as the core scenery ,supplemented by loess landscape ,fossils ,the stratigraphic section and other geological heritage landscape ,completed with a blend of profound and rich history and culture human resources landscape .The common development of loess in the park represents the ancient geography and the ancient climate environment of the Quaternary Pleistocene loess plateau ,and can study the genesis of loess and the formation of Loess Plateau and the environment evolution .According to characteristics of Lama Bay terrace profile diagram ,reflecting that they belong to the base terrace ,pointing out in Qingshuihe area since Quaternary in new tectonic movement has repeatedly intermittent rise .Qingshui River area of the Yellow River meandering is in the river cutting in the process of gradually lateral erosion ,evolution and ,with endogenous meandering characteristics .Deep Hequ reflects the tectonic uplift movement since the Quaternary ,resulting in the erosion of the source of the river .The genesis of the Yang Jiachuan falls is a crack type waterfall .This type of waterfall is closely related to the vertical distribution of the vertical and the new tectonic movement and the erosion of the source .Geological relic in the tributaries of the Yellow River and river ancient ruins and river terraces ,represents a typical modern and ancient river landscape ,modern research and ancient Yellow River flow hydrodynamic mode of action and strength ,the changes of ancient river course of the Yellow River ,the regional geological evolution history ,new tectonic movement and the pale environmental change .
