On Influencing Factors and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Carbon Emission Efficiency in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region
By analyzing the spatial distribution characteristics of carbon emission efficiency in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, this paper provided scientific basis and strategic support for regional environmental governance and sustainable economic development.Firstly,in this paper, the nearest neighbor method was used to construct the spatial weight matrix. The Moran index test showed that there was a significant spatial correlation between the carbon emission efficiency in the region. That is,the carbon emission efficiency of adjacent areas was highly similarly. And then, the spatial Durbin model was used toconduct regression analysis on carbon emission efficiency. It was found that factors such as industrial structure, economic development level and technological progress had a positive effect on the carbon emission efficiency, and the surrounding areas with high carbon emission efficiency also had a positive driving effect on the carbon emission efficiency of the region. Finally, the direct effect, indirect effect and total effect of each variable in the multiple regression model were explained. In general, the impact of population density, the completion of energy-saving and emission reduction targets, the proportion of R&D investment in GDP and the proportion of the tertiary industry on the explained variables was more significant than other factors.
