Common prosperity,as an important goal of socialism with Chinese characteristics,has profound significance for achieving comprehensive socialist modernization.And rural areas,serving as a crucial foundation of the country,are currently the focal point of attention.Therefore,this study aims to construct an evaluation index system for rural common prosperity and measure it.The entropy weight Topsis method is used to measure and analyze the level of rural common prosperity in Sichuan Province.The study shows that:(1)from the perspective of the whole province,the overall development level of rural areas in Sichuan Province is in a phased upward state.(2)From the perspective of prefecture level cities,the common prosperity level of rural areas in each city is constantly improving,but due to location factors,there exist variations in the development progress of each city.(3)From the perspective of development stages,from 2012 to 2021,the rural areas in the province achieved a transition from low,medium low to almost medium high levels,while the transition to high-level development faced certain bottlenecks.
