Evaluation of Logistics Efficiency and Analysis of Influencing Factors:Demonstration Based on Panel Data of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle
Logistics is a basic industry concerning national economy, and its efficient and coordinated development is of great significance to China's economic development. This paper uses the SBM-DEA model to measure the logistics efficiency of 16 regions within the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle from 2011 to 2020,then adopts the Malmquist index method to measure the total factor productivity level of the logistics industry, and analyzes its spatio-temporal evolution characteristics. Finally,Tobit regression is used to analyze the influencing factors of logistics comprehensive technical efficiency. The results show that:Overall, the logistics efficiency of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is low,and shows an"S"type fluctuation, the overall floating ratio is large, and the efficiency of each region is different. The overall logistics efficiency of all regions is showing an upward trend, which mainly depends on the improvement of comprehensive technical efficiency, and the improvement of comprehensive technical efficiency mainly depends on the improvement of pure technical efficiency. The spatial distribution of logistics TFP in each region is relatively random, with no obvious regional aggregation observed. The level of economic development and location factors have a significant positive correlation with the level of logistics efficiency, while the industrial structure index is negatively correlated with the logistics level in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. There is no significant correlation between the degree of openness, investment in talent training, and the logistics level in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
