Research and application of integrating airborne LiDAR and SLAM technology in single-wood factor extraction
LiDAR technology provides an effective method for forest resources investigation and monitoring.Based on LiDAR point cloud data processing, airborne LiDAR is combined with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM)construction technology in this paper and is proposed as the extraction method of forest resources single-wood factor. This method is used to obtain forest three-dimensional laser point cloud data based on the airborne LiDAR combined with SLAM.And the measured single-wood factor in different feature plots are taken as training samples, combining with machine learning algorithms to accurately and quickly extract single-wood factors in large-scale forests.Taking a dense forest within a certain regimental farm in Xinjiang as the example to carry out experiement, the result turns out the research method can realize the complete three-dimensional point cloud data acquisition and single-wood factor extraction and analysis and it has provided strong technical and data support for forestry-related departments to carry out forest resources investigation and monitoring.
