In view of the frequent occurrence of diseases in freshwater fish aquaculture,the article firstly elaborates on the significance of freshwater fish aquaculture,analyzes the impact of common fish diseases on aquaculture industry,discusses the causes for the occurrence of fish diseases,and introduces several common diseases including bacterial,viral,and parasitic diseases and the corresponding prevention and control methods,with a view to promoting the sustainable and sound development of the freshwater aquaculture industry.
