Blonanserin is a new type of antipsychotic,mainly antagonizing dopamine D2,D3 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors,with a unique pharmacological mechanism.It can effectively treat schizophrenia,and at the same time improve part of the cognitive function of patients and help restore social function.It has good safety,efficacy and tolerability,and is widely used in clinical treatment.Based on this,this paper reviews the pharmacodynamics,pharmacokinetic studies,population pharmacokinetics,safety,efficacy,therapeutic drug testing,drug interaction and gene polymorphism studies of blonanserin for the aim of providing reference for follow-up studies and individualized clinical treatment.
