Safety and Efficacy of Transdermal Co-Delivery Nanocarriers for Anti-Sensitive and Anti-Inflammatory Ingredients
OBJECTIVE The safety and efficacy of transdermal co-delivery nanocarriers(EGHA-NCs)encapsulated with ectoin/glycyrrhetinic acid/sodium hyaluronate/acetyl dipeptide-1 cetyl ester foranti-allergic and anti-inflammatory were investigated.METHODS The safety of EGHA-NCs was investigated by cell activity test, chicken embryo allantoic membrane test, and skin patch test;the anti-sensitivity and anti-inflammatory efficacy of EGHA-NCs was investigated by establishing cell inflammation model and cell sensitisation model, and detecting the secretion of anti-sensitivity and anti-inflammatory related factors.RESULTS EGHA-NCs had a better safety profile without skin irritation. It could significantly inhibit the cellular secretion of TRPV1,PGE2,IL-1β,IL-8,and IL-6 levels, and the effect was better than that of free ingredient solution in same dosage.CONCLUSION EGHA-NCs have good application prospects in the field of anti-sensitive and anti-inflammatory skin care products.
