Integrin Interacting Protein Kindlin-2 Predict Poor Prognosis in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Patients
OBJECTIVE Investigate the expression of integrin interacting protein Kindlin-2 in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and its correlation with the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer patients.METHODS Reviewing the medical records of 256 patients with non-small cell lung cancer who underwent surgery in a hospital from 2008 to 2018.Wax samples of non-small cell lung cancer tissues were collected, and the expression of Kindlin-2 was detected and scored by immunohistochemical method. To investigate the relationship between Kindlin-2 expression and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer.RESULTS The high expression rate of Kindlin-2 in non-small cell lung cancer tissues was approximately 51.6%(132/256).Both univariate and multivariate analyses indicated that Kindlin-2 could be used as an independent prognostic factor for OS in non-small cell lung cancer patients.CONCLUSION Kindlin-2 is highly expressed in non-small cell lung cancer tissues, and overexpression of Kindlin-2 can be used as an independent prognostic factor for non-small cell lung cancer.
