Effect of Feilike Mixture Combined with Cefotaxime on Therapeutic Effect and Serum NF-κB and IL-17 in Children with Community-Acquired Pneumonia
OBJECTIVE To analyze the therapeutic effect of Feilike mixture combined with cefotaxime on children with community-acquired pneumonia and the effects of serum nuclear factor κB(NF-κB)and interleukin-17(IL-17).METHODS A total of 77 children with community-acquired pneumonia admitted to Gao'an Maternal and Child Health Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects,and divided into a combination group(n=39)and a control group(n=38),and the two groups were given different treatment plans.The control group was treated with cefotaxime,and the combinationgroup was treated with Feilike mixture on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared.Time for clinical symptoms(fever,asthma,cough,lung rales)to disappear.Pediatric critical illness score(PCIS)and clinical pulmonary infection score(CPIS)before and after treatment.Immune function(CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+),serum NF-κB,IL-17 levels before and after treatment.RESULTS The effective rate in the combination group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The disappearance time of clinical symptoms in combination group was better than that in control group(all P＜0.05).PCIS and CPIS scores in combination group were better than those in control group(all P＜0.05).The levels of CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+in combination group were better than those in control group after treatment(all P＜0.05).The levels of NF-κB and IL-17 in combination group after treatment were lower than those in control group(all P＜0.05).CONCLUSION Feilike Mixture combined with cefotaxime can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,improve the immune function and reduce serum levels of NF-κB and IL-17 in children with community-acquired pneumonia,demonstrating a good therapeutic effect.
