Establishment of UPLC fingerprint of benchmark samples for Juanbi Decoction and determination of four components
Objective To establish a UPLC fingerprint of benchmark samples for Juanbi Decoction and a determination method for the content of four compounds:gentianoside, sericin, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, and 11-carbonyl-β-acetylboswellic acid. Methods UPLC was used to clarify the peak attribution and similarity range of the fingerprints. The four components, gentianoside, sericin, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, and 11-carbonyl-β-acetylboswellic acid were determined separately. Results UPLC fingerprints of fifteen batches of the benchmark samples of Juanbi Decoction were used to identify ten characteristic peaks with similarity values greater than 0.90.Gentianoside,sericin,ammonium glycyrrhizinate, and 11-carbonyl-β-acetylboswellic acid all had good linear relationships with the peak area within their corresponding ranges. The correlation coefficients were greater than or equal to 0.999.The average recoveries of the four components were 99.9%,98.7%,97.5%,and 100.5%(n=9),with RSD of 2.5%or less. Conclusion The method demonstrates high sensitivity and good reproducibility, which provides a foundation for studying the quality control of benchmark samples of Juanbi Decoction and its classical formula preparations.
