Stress study and clinical observation of intermaxillary traction nail combined with biological absorbable micro plate in the treatment of senile mandibular fracture
Objective To observe the clinical effect of intermaxillary traction nail combined with biological absorbable micro plate in the treatment of senile mandibular fracture. Methods Elderly patients with mandibular fracture admitted to Shijiazhuang Second Hospital were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment plans by random number table method. The control group received internal fixation with titanium plate combined with external fixation with intermaxillary traction nail, and the observation group received internal fixation with biological absorbable micro plate combined with external fixation with intermaxillary traction nail. The postoperative clinical indicators, incidence of complications and therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared. Results Three month after treatment, the AF-BF distance and AXB Angle in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the maximum stress value of mandible and whole in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, but the fixed plate was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the maximum displacement values of mandible, whole and fixed plate were higher in the observation group(P<0.05);the observation group had a lower rate of complications than that in the control group(P<0.05);the treatment effect of the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Intermaxillary traction nail combined with biological absorbable micro plate has significant effect in the treatment of elderly mandibular fractures, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
