Experimental Study of Cognitive-Behavioral Training to Improve Primary School Students'Optimistic Intelligence Quotient
Based on cognitive-behavioral theory, the study was conducted to understand the effect of group training on the improvement of elementary school students'optimistic intelligence quotient, and to explore the ways to improve the level of elementary school students'optimistic intelligence quotient.Ninety-seven primary school students were randomly selected as the experimental group to receive cognitive-behavioral training activities, and 92 primary school students were randomly selected as the control group to receive traditional mental health teaching activities. The experimental group received a total of 16 consecutive weeks of 45-minute group training per week. The control group received mental health curriculum treatment for the same period of time.Pre-test and post-test of the two groups were conducted using the Elementary and Middle School Students'Optimistic Intelligence Quotient Questionnaire. It was found that the experimental groups levels of optimistic intelligence quotient, pleasure thresh-old,optimism infection and taste were significantly higher in the post-test than in the pre-test(p<0.05).No significant differences(p>0.05)were found in the total score of optimistic intelligence quotient or the pre-test and post-test of each dimension in the control group. It suggest that cognitive-behavioral training can significant-ly improve elementary school students'optimistic intelligence quotient relative to traditional mental health courses.Cognitive-behavioral training can improve elementary school students'happiness threshold, ability to taste life, and infectious optimism, which is a scientific and effective method to improve elementary school students'optimistic intelligence quotient.
