Value shaping,as the primary focus of talent cultivation,is an essential requirement and inherent mission of moral education in higher education institutions.Contemporary youth college students generally exhibit positive and diverse value choices,demonstrating a multi-dimensional orientation with distinctive individual char-acteristics and a certain tendency towards utilitarianism.Strengthening the value shaping of contemporary youth col-lege students should be based on the main channels of classroom teaching,establishing a new system for student af-fairs,creating a new brand for cultural education,expanding new domains for community education,consolidating new carriers for online education,and constructing a new pattern of"three-dimensional education."
