The Relationship Between Family Environment and Aggressive Behavior among College Students:a Moderated Mediation Model
To explore the relationship between family environment and aggressive behavior of college students,and the mediating role of self-control and the moderating role of perceived social support.A survey was conducted on 1359 college students using Family Environment Scale,Aggression Behavior Scale,Perceived Social Support Scale,and Self Control Scale.The results showed that:(1)There was a significant correlation between family envi-ronment,perceived social support,self-control,and aggressive behavior;(2)Self-control played a mediating role between family environment and aggressive behavior among college students;(3)Understanding that social support can play a moderating role in the direct pathway between family environment and aggressive behavior among college students,as well as the mediating pathway in the first half of the relationship between the two.The research showed that the family environment not only directly affects the aggressive behavior of college students,but can also indirectly influence their aggressive behavior through self-control;Perceived Social Support moderates both the direct and the indirect effect of family environment on college students'aggressive behavior through self-control.
