Research on the Practice Path of Blended"Gold Courses"in Higher Normal Universities——A Case Study of the Construction of the Selected Readings in British Literature Course at Guizhou Education University
In the context of"gold courses"construction, how provincial undergraduate normal universities can overcome geographical limitations and the relative scarcity of educational resources to create high-quality profes-sional courses is an urgent issue to be addressed. The teaching team of the"Selected Readings in English Litera-ture"course at Guizhou Education University, after five years of exploration and practice, has gradually developed an effective approach to creating"gold courses."Firstly, the team introduced and localized high-quality online teaching resources, utilizing smart teaching tools for course resource construction.Secondly, they carefully selected reading materials and integrated ideological and political elements to cultivate students'critical thinking abilities and cultural confidence.Furthermore, they employed the"Transactional theory"to promote interactive connections be-tween texts and students.Lastly, they designed a diversified assessment system aimed at enhancing students'higher-order skills. This blended teaching mode of"ideological and political guidance+text analysis+discus-sion and debate+extracurricular study"has provided a new perspective for English major literature teaching.
