Objective:To explore the mediating role of resilience and uncertainty stress between self-compas-sion and college students'bedtime procrastination. Methods:A total of 881 college students were measured by ques-tionnaires including self-compassion scale, resilience scale, uncertainty stress scale, and bedtime procrastination scale.Results:(1)College students'bedtime procrastination was significantly negatively related to self-compassion(r=-0.34,p<0.01)and resilience(r=-0.31,p<0.01),but it was significantly positively correlated with uncertainty stress(r=0.38,p<0.01).(2)Resilience(β=-0.10,p<0.01)and uncertainty stress(β=-0.14,p<0.01)played a mediating role in the relationship between self-compassion and college students'bedtime pro-crastination.Resilience and uncertainty stress also played a chain mediating role in the relation between self-com-passion and college students'bedtime procrastination(β=-0.04,p<0.01).Conclusion:Self-compassion can directly influence college students'bedtime procrastination, and also can indirectly influence their bedtime procras-tination through the separate mediating effects of resilience and uncertainty stress,as well as the chain mediating effect of resilience and uncertainty stress.
