An Exploratory Study on the Influence of Teachers'TPACK on the Teaching Ability of Preservice Teachers——Empirical Analysis Based on Structural Equation Modeling
Teachers have a crucial influence on the learning performance and effectiveness of students.The study explored the impacts of six components of teachers'Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge(TPACK)on the teaching ability of preservice English teachers.The six components of TPACK include Content Knowledge(CK),Pedagogical Knowledge(PK),Technological Knowledge(TK),as well as Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK),Technological Content Knowledge(TCK),and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge(TPK).Structural Equation Modeling(SmartPLS 3.0)analysis found that the four factors of teachers'CK,PK,PCK,and TPK have a direct positive impact on the performance of students'teaching abilities,with TPK having the greatest predictive power and the biggest influence.However,teachers'TK and TCK have no significant impact on the per-formance of students'teaching abilities.
