Evaluation of the Implementation Effect of the"Double Reduction"Policy in Guizhou and Analysis of Countermeasures for Improvement
The"Double Reduction"policy aims to reduce the burden of homework and out-of-school train-ing and counselling on students,thereby promoting the optimization and development of the education system.Its core objective is to improve the quality of education,fully stimulate students'potential,and cultivate innovative thinking and lifelong learning ability.However,the existing literature focuses more on theoretical analyses of the policy and specific implementation measures,with less research on the actual effects of the policy.Therefore,this paper selects Guizhou Province as a case study and conducts a comprehensive evaluation through a questionnaire survey,comparing and analyzing the changes in the educational environment as well as students'responses and ad-aptations before and after the implementation of the policy.The results show that Guizhou Province has made signif-icant progress in education reform,improved the education environment and reduced the burden on students under the"double reduction"policy.However,the study also reveals some problems and challenges in the implementa-tion of the policy.Based on this,the paper proposes strategies to enhance the effects of the reduction and to contin-uously improve the quality of the policy implementation,so as to ensure that the effects of the policy are long-last-ing and to further promote the all-round development of students.
