Effect of Grinding Time on Low Carbon Cementitious Materials
Low-carbon cementitious materials were prepared by compounding granulated blast furnace slag and sili-ceous waste slag powder. The effects of different grinding times on the activity of low-carbon cementitious materials and the performance of concrete were studied. The results indicate that prolonging the grinding time is beneficial for improving the specific surface area and activity index of low-carbon cementitious materials.Low carbon cementitious materials mainly replace cement through the improvement of micro aggregate effect and volcanic ash activity.Control-ling the grinding time of low carbon cementitious materials is beneficial for exerting their micro aggregate filling effect and improving the comprehensive performance of concrete.Excessive grinding time not only has limited effect on im-proving the specific surface area, but also leads to a decrease in the performance, mechanical properties, and volume sta-bility of the concrete mixture.
