After leveling in a certain energy storage project in Ceheng County,an unstable soil slope with a height of 10 meters was formed.In order to not affect the normal use of the planned road at the foot of the slope,support design is needed.According to the calculation results of soil pressure,it is planned to use a retaining wall for support.Due to the insufficient bearing capacity of the gravel base,the overall stability of the retaining wall does not meet the require-ments.Traditional engineering measures such as replacement filling need to be adopted for treatment,but this method has a long construction period,high cost,significant safety risks,and poor economic efficiency.Based on the project characteristics,it is proposed to install pile cap beams at the lower part of the retaining wall to address the issue of in-adequate bearing capacity,forming a system of pile cap beam retaining wall support.The project has been completed for one year,monitoring data show almost no deformation in both horizontal and vertical directions,indicating overall sta-bility and proving the safety and suitability of this system.
