Based on the background of a highway reconstruction and expansion project,the stress distribution pattern of multi-span continuous beams under longitudinal synchronous errors was analyzed using a finite element model.By gradually increasing the displacement in the jacking-up conditions of the main beams,the controlled value for uneven longitudinal jacking-up displacement differences of the beam body was calculated and analyzed.Meanwhile,the local stress states of the main beams during jacking-up and lowering were studied.The results indicated that during thejack-ing-up process of the beam body,the stress on the upper edge of the main beam increased with the deviation in jacking-up synchronization.The stress on the upper edge of a four-span continuous beam was more sensitive to jacking-up devi-ations.Therefore,it is recommended to control the jacking-up deviation within 20 mm and 10 mm for box beams with four spans and three spans,respectively.
