Analysis of Cost Control for Guangzhou T Industrial Park Project Under EPC Mode
EPC(Engineering Procurement Construction)aims to deliver the project as a whole,contracting out engi-neering,construction drawing design,and procurement to a single contractor responsible for all aspects.The T Industry Park project in Guangzhou is a typical EPC model development project.Based on the current situation analysis of the in-dustry park project,the cost control results are analyzed using the Work Breakdown Structure(WBS)method,indica-ting that the unit price of the project's bill of quantities is relatively high,and the general construction contractor lacks the initiative to control costs,leading to higher construction costs.In combination with the actual situation of the indus-try park project,cost control improvement measures such as simulated bill of quantities bidding,construction drawing cost limit design,and strengthening competition among professional subcontractors are proposed to achieve controllable construction costs.
