Production Practice of Application of Composite Organic Bentonite in Ezhou Pellet Plant
Wuhan Iron and Steel Resources Group Ezhou Pelletizing Co.,Ltd.replaces the 1.5%Indian bentonite with 1.1%composite organic bentonite developed by Liaoning University of Science and Technology Tuodan Furnace Material Co.,Ltd.in the production of pellets.The quality indicators of green balls improve,the ball-forming rate increases,the consumption of bentonite per ton pellet decreases,the grade of finished pellets increases,the SiO2 content decreases,and the physical indicators improve.The economic benefit per ton of iron is calculated to be 2.51 yuan after the reduction of bentonite consumption and the improvement of pellet grade.
