Analysis,Handling and Prevention of Luffing Mechanism Failure in Bucket Wheel Reclaimers
The reclaiming equipment in the raw material area of Sinter Plant of Zenith Steel Group Company Limited Special Steel Corporation is QLZ1200·51.5 bucket wheel stacker reclaimer.As the main component of bucket wheel stacker reclaimer,the luffing mechanism is subject to the working conditions of high pressure,high load and frequent stopping and starting.The luffing mechanism is in hydraulic form,which is a complex system with many working components.Once a luffing mechanism failure occurs,it may affect the action of the cantilever,making it impossible to stack and retrieve materials.Moreover,fault diagnosis is difficult.Therefore,the failures of the luffing mechanism of the QLZ1200·51.5 reclaimer is analyzed and dealt with,and improvement and preventive measures are proposed.
