Research Progress of Green and Low-carbon Hydrogen Metallurgy Technology
Against the backdrop of"carbon peaking"and"carbon neutrality",the metallurgical industry is transitioning from traditional"carbon metallurgy"to a new type of"hydrogen metallurgy".Hydrogen metallurgy technology can effectively reduce carbon emissions and even achieve the goal of zero carbon emissions,assisting the green and low-carbon development of the steel industry.In this paper,the kinetics and thermodynamic principles of hydrogen metallurgy are analyzed,and a systematic review is conducted on the hydrogen metallurgy technology applied in hydrogen-rich reduction blast furnaces and gas-based direct reduction shaft furnaces both domestically and internationally as well as its research progress.The characteristics of the long and short processes in hydrogen metallurgy technology are compared,and the research and development direction of hydrogen metallurgy technology is summarized.The current problems in industrial application of hydrogen metallurgy technology are analyzed,which helps to promote the development and industrial promotion of hydrogen metallurgy technology.
