Three-dimensional Modeling of Open Pit Mine Based on Vehicle-mounted LiDAR
Three-dimensional model is geological terrain data that provides the basis for geological exploration, reserve calculation and mining design.A vehicle-mounted LiDAR is used to carry out rapid three-dimensional modeling of open-pit mines, providing efficient and intuitive data support for the design and production management of open-pit mines. In this paper, the point cloud data obtained by vehicle-mounted laser LiDAR is processed by denoising, filtering, and extracting topographic feature points,to construct the triangular mesh of the surface of the mining area, and the 3D model is edited. The maximum deviation of the developed model from the original point cloud is 4.2 cm,the average deviation is 0.02 cm,and the standard deviation is 0.2 cm.And it shows to be a high quality model, and this processing method can complete the 3D modeling of open pit mines.
