Production Practice of Optimizing Material Bed Permeability by Sintering Technology with Ultra-high Material Bed
The thickness of conventional sintered material bed is limited to 750 to 800 mm due to the permeability of the material bed,which affects the production efficiency of sintered ore.Improving the permeability of the material bed and effectively increasing the thickness of the sintered material bed without affecting the quality of the sintered ore has become an important way to further improve the production efficiency of the sintered ore.In 360 m2 sintering machine project of LY Steel,the granulation has been strengthened and the permeability of the sintered ore bed has been improved by enhancing the granulation performance,optimizing the structure of raw material,improving the quicklime feeding equipment,optimizing the ore-lifting Angles of the cylinder mixer and so on.Compared to the sintering with a bed thickness of 700 to 750 mm,under the condition of an ultra-high bed thickness of 950 to 1000mm,the tumbler strength of the sintered ore is gradually increased to79.23%,the utilization coefficient stabilizes above1.50t/(m2* h),the solid fuel consumption stabilizes at 51.48 kg/t,and the return ore ratio is reduced to 21.52%.This provides a reference for improving the production efficiency of sintered ore with ultra-high bed thickness(1000 mm).
