Based on years of experience in general layout and transportation design of metallurgical engineering,problems such as how to save and utilize land in the design process,as well as the key points of general layout and transportation design for the renovation and expansion of old plants are briefly discussed.At the same time,shallow insights into the optimization of general layout and transportation design are proposed for reference.
