Research on Effect of Roasting Conditions on Quality Improvement and Impurity Reduction of Rutile Concentrate in the Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate System
Based on a low-grade rutile concentrate in Shangluo City, the effects of roasting conditions on the grade of rutile concentrate in a ammonium dihydrogen phosphate system are investigated. Experiments on different roasting temperatures, diammonium hydrogen phosphate dosage and roasting time are conducted, the suitable preparation conditions for improving the quality of rutile concentrate are obtained. The experimental results show that the optimal reaction conditions are a roasting temperature of 1100 ℃, a dosage of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate as per 30% of the mass of rutile, and a roasting time of 90 minutes. Under these conditions, the content of various impurities in the leaching solution is the highest, and the quality of the obtained rutile is the best. The TiO2 content is 95.78%, which is up by 12.38 percentage points.
