Research on Three-dimensional Laser Scanning, Modeling Technology and Visualization of Underground Space in a Mine
Traditional goaf detection methods have problems such as high labor intensity, high cost, and poor accuracy. Therefore, 3D laser scanning technology is used to detect the goaf of an underground marble mine. And based on VTK data processing software and Paraview visualization platform, big data model processing is carried out. A three-dimensional model of the underground space is established and virtual roaming within the model is achieved. The 3D shape, accurate spatial position, boundaries of the goaf and roadway is obtained through the establishment of underground 3D model of a marble mine, and actual volumes of the mining area is calculated based on 3D solid model, providing a basis for the construction of the national mine park and the development and management of the goafs in later stage.
