Application of Upward Fan-shaped Medium-length Hole Blasting Technology in Mining of Thick and Large Gently-inclined Ore Body of Makeng Iron Ore Mine
In the mining of thick and large ore bodies in Makeng Iron Mine,the main method used for steeply inclined ore bodies is the large-diameter and long-hole block stoping with backfilling method,while the sublevel drilling and block stoping with backfilling method is often used for the inclined ore bodies.The key to efficiently mining inclined ore bodies using the sublevel drilling and block stoping with backfilling method lies in the rational application of upward fan-shaped medium-length hole blasting technology.The Makeng Iron Mine has achieved safe and efficient mining with the sublevel drilling and block stoping with backfilling method through selection of reasonable rock drilling and blasting parameters,and use of multi-row micro-differential extrusion blasting technology with surplus ore reserves to reduce the large block rate,improve the residual ore recovery rate of remote-controlled load-haul-dump vehicles,and greatly increase the recovery rate of the ore.
