After mullite bricks instead of magnesium bricks are used in the calcining zone of a double-shaft lime kiln for a period of time,it was found that the mullite bricks were eroded.Through laboratory analysis,the causes and mechanisms of the erosion were studied,and the applicability and related precautions of high aluminum products(mullite bricks)in the calcining zone of a double-shaft kiln were illustrated.
