The wear-resistant castables for suspension cylinder of Maerz lime kiln play a crucial role in the normal production of the lime kiln. In order to improve the performance and construction applicability of wear-resistant castables for suspension cylinders,the effects of SiC fine powder,cordierite,hollow-structured alumina,sintering aids(boric acid),and nano oxide additives on the performance of corundum castables are systematically investigated. The results show that the developed wear-resistant castables for suspension cylinder have better performance than the originally used imported wear-resistant castables in all aspects,and their service life has been significantly improved,exceeding that of the current imported products used.
