Antitrust of Platform Economy:International Practice and Its Implications
In recent years,the rapid development of platform economy in developed countries and regions such as the United States,Japan and the European Union has greatly changed the mode of social production and lifestyle.However,while reducing transaction costs and improving social productivity,platform economy also presents a series of issues such as oligarchy of platform enterprises,uneven allocation of resources,disorderly expansion of capital and inhibition of social innovation.In order to ensure fair competition and healthy development in the field of platform economy,the United States,Japan and the European Union and other countries and regions have actively explored and innovated their system and legislation in defining market dominant position,prohibiting the abuse of market dominance,breaking down the entry barriers of the platform economy,and inhibiting the concentration of platform operators.This paper systematically summarizes and analyzes the platform economy development practices and anti-trust experiences of developed countries and regions,in order to provide useful reference for the healthy and orderly development of China's platform economy.
