Research on energy conservation characteristics of built-in skin electric tracing process in gathering and transportation pipeline
Aiming at the problem of large heat energy consumption in high-water cut gathering and transpor-tation pipelines in oilfields,the built-in skin electric tracing process has been proposed to replace the water blending and electric heating process.Based on the principle of heat balance,the input power calculation meth-ods of the centralized heating process and the built-in skin electric tracing process are reviewed.The influence of different parameters on the power ratio is analyzed.Finally,the optimization results under different work-ing conditions are analyzed.The results show that when the pipe insulation performance is normal,the pipe di-ameter is small,the conveying distance is long,the moisture content is low and the flow rate is small,the heat consumption can be saved significantly compared with the centralized electric tracing.The fuel gas can be saved by 53.7 m3/h under normal working conditions and the fuel gas can be saved by 70.1 m3/h under small de-livery conditions.Under the shutdown condition,the safe shutdown time can be extended 3.9 times,and the payback period of a single pipeline investment is about 2 years.The research results can provide practical refer-ence for energy conservation and consumption reduction of gathering and transportation technology.
