Application of trinity perioperative nutrition intervention in patients with partial laryngectomy
Objective To explore the application effect of"doctor-nutritionist-nurse"trinity perioperative nu-trition intervention in patients with laryngeal cancer after partial laryngectomy. Methods A total of 72 patients with la-ryngeal cancer who underwent partial laryngectomy in this hospital from January 2018 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(34 cases)and observation group(38 cases)according to the order of admission. The control group received conventional perioperative nutrition management, and the observation group re-ceived the trinity perioperative nutrition intervention of"doctor-nutritionist-nurse".Total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),body mass index(BMI),the incidence of postoperative gastrointestinal adverse reactions and the average length of postoperative hospital stay were used to analyze the application effect of the trinity nutrition intervention.Re-sults Within 24 hours after admission, there were no statistically significant differences in TP,ALB and BMI between the two groups(P>0.05).One day before discharge, the indexes of ALB,TP and BMI in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative gastrointestinal adverse reactions and the average length of hospital stay in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The trinity perioperative nutrition intervention of"doctor-nutritionist-nurse"can effectively improve the nutritional status of patients with laryngeal cancer undergoing partial laryngeal resection, promote postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery,ac-celerate patient recovery, and shorten postoperative hospital stay.
