Impact of a motivational-behavioral transformational progressive care model on lung cancer chemotherapy patients
Objective To explore the feasibility of implementing the progressive nursing mode of motivational behavior transformation for patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods A total of 150 patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy in this hospital from January 2021 to February 2022 were selected, and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 75 patients in each group. The control group implemented the routine nursing mode, while the observation group implemented the progressive nursing mode of motiva-tional behavior transformation. The scores of the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ(HPLP-Ⅱ)and the Quality of Life Instruments For Lung Cancer Patients(QLICP-LU)before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in HPLP-Ⅱ score and QLICP-LU score between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).After nursing, the scores of each dimension of HPLP-Ⅱ in the observation group were sig-nificantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nurs-ing,the score of QLICP-LU was significantly higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically signif-icant(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with the conventional nursing mode and the progressive nursing mode of motivational behavior transformation for patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy, the progressive nursing mode of motivational behavior transformation is more effective in improving patients' coping style, changing patients'health promotion behavior and improving patients' quality of life.
