Impact of the degree of proactive risk prevention intervention on the quality of care for mechanically ventilated patients with severe pneumonia in the intensive care unit
Objective To investigate the impact of the degree of proactive risk prevention intervention on the quality of care for mechanically ventilated patients with severe pneumonia in the intensive care unit. Methods A total of 80 patients with severe pneumonia were selected to receive treatment in this hospital from January 2020 to January 2022,and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each with 40 cases. The control group implemented conventional nursing model, and the observation group implemented active risk prevention interven-tion.On the day of admission and the day of discharge from the ICU,the blood gas indexes, clinical treatment indexes and the incidence of risk events of the two groups were compared. Results On the day of admission, there was no sta-tistically significant difference in the comparison of all clinical indicators between the two groups(all P>0.05);on the day of discharge from the ICU,the values of blood gas indexes of the observation group were better than those of the con-trol group, and the time for recovery of body temperature, time for ventilation, time for hospitalization in the ICU,and the rate of risky events was lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusions The implementation of proactive risk prevention interventions can minimize the duration of venti-lation and reduce the occurrence of risky events in patients with severe pneumonia, thus improving their blood gas index values.
