To explore the risk factors of SDHVD in psychiatric patients and the clinical significance of FS and LVEF
Objective To explore the risk factors of senile degenerative heart disease(SDHVD)in psychiatric patients and the clinical significance of left ventricular shortening fraction(FS)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)by echocardiography. Methods A total of 128 elderly patients with long-term hospitalization in the psychi-atric department of the hospital from June 2020 to January 2023 were divided into the occurrence group and the non-occurrence group according to whether SDHVD was complicated during the treatment period, and the clinical data of the two groups were compared.Logistic multivariate regression analysis was used to identify the risk factors affecting the occurrence of SDHVD in psychiatric patients, and to compare the differences of FS and LVEF in patients with mental illness complicated with SDHVD in different cardiac function grades. Results The incidence of SDHVD in psychiatric patients was about 40.63%(52/128).Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that combined treatment had low FS,low LVEF,high lobe ring diameter index, high atrial transverse diameter ratio, fast maximum reflux velocity, high total cholesterol(TC)level, high low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)level and high lipoprotein a(Lp(a))level were independent risk factors for SDHVD in patients with psychosis. The results of linear trend test showed that the higher the cardiac function grade of patients with psychosis complicated with SDHVD,the lower the FS and LVEF(F=-0.742,-0.786,P<0.05).Conclusion Combined treatment with two antipsychotics,FS,LVEF,valvular ring diameter index, atrial transverse diameter ratio, maximum reflux velocity,TC,LDL-C,Lp(a)are risk factors affecting psychiatric patients with SDHVD,and FS and LVEF have certain guidance on the cardiac function classifica-tion of psychiatric patients with SDHVD.
