Analysis of the influencing factors of postpartum depression in primiparous women and its correlation with sleep quality
Objective To analyze the incidence and influencing factors of postpartum depression in primipa-rous women, and to analyze the correlation between postpartum depression and sleep quality. Methods A study was conducted on 120 primiparous women admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to December 2022 using the ECXEL table. The clinical data of 120 primiparous women were retrospectively analyzed, and the incidence of postpartum de-pression was calculated. They were divided into two groups based on whether depression occurred.25 patients with de-pression were included in the observation group, and 95 patients without depression were included in the control group. The related factors of postpartum depression in primiparous women were analyzed, and the Pearson program was used to analyze the correlation between postpartum depression and sleep quality. Results According to data statistics,25(20.83%)of the 120 primiparous women experienced postpartum depression, while 95(79.17%)did not experience postpartum depression.Univariate analysis:There was statistical significance(P<0.05)between the observation group and the control group in terms of age, education level, regular pregnancy checkups, maternal health status, infant health status, attitudes of medical staff, family members, feeding methods, obstetric complications,Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS)scores,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)scores.Multivariate analysis:Age≥35 years old, high school education or below, irregular pregnancy checkups, poor maternal health, poor infant health, poor attitude of medical staff, poor attitude of family members, mixed feeding or formula feeding, presence of obstetric complications,EPDS score ≥13 points,PSQI score ≥ 11 points are high-risk factors for postpartum de-pression in primiparous women.Pearson program analysis showed a positive correlation between postpartum depression and sleep quality. Conclusion The incidence of postpartum depression in primiparous women is relatively high, and the occurrence of this condition is closely related to the maternal education level, smooth production, attitudes of med-ical staff and family members, feeding methods, etc. If reasonable plans are not taken in a timely manner to improve their sleep quality, the interaction between the two can increase the difficulty of treatment.
