Effect and mechanism analysis of paroxetine hydrochloride on negative emotion and blood pressure vari-ability in female climacteric hypertensive patients with depression and anxiety
Objective To observe the value of paroxetine hydrochloride in improving the negative emotion of female climacteric patients with hypertension complicated with depression and anxiety and its effect on blood pressure variability. Methods 87 female patients with menopausal hypertension combined with depression and anxiety in our hospital were divided by random number table method.43 cases in the control group received basic Western medicine treatment and lifestyle intervention, and 44 cases in the observation group were treated with paroxetine hydrochloride on the basis of the control group.Negative emotions, blood pressure variability, serum estradiol and dopamine levels, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, anxiety and depression scores in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the stan-dard deviation of diastolic blood pressure between the two groups(P>0.05),and the variability of residual blood pres-sure in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of dopamine and estradiol in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Paroxetine combined with conventional treatment can effectively relieve the negative emotions of female menopause patients with hypertension combined with anxiety and depression, improve blood pressure variability, increase dopamine and estradiol secretion levels, and is safe.
