The status of anxiety and depression in patients with different stages of chronic kidney disease
Objective To study and analyze the depression and anxiety status of patients with different stages of chronic kidney disease.Method 100 patients with chronic kidney disease admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects.Based on the glomerular filtration rate, they were divided into two groups:Chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 5 group and CKD stage 1-4 group. Then, the Self-rating Depres-sion Scale(SDS)and Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)were used to assess their depression and anxiety status. Results Among 100 patients,63 cases were CDK1-4,accounting for 63.0%,37 cases were CKD5,accounting for 37%.The SDS and SAS scores of CKD patients were higher than those of normal population in China(P<0.05).The SDS score of CKD5 group was significantly higher than that of CKD 1-4 group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in SAS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).At the same time, the presence or absence of depres-sion and anxiety symptoms were used as dependent variables to construct the Logistic regression model, and the results showed that the symptoms of depression and anxiety in CKD patients were related to age and disease stage(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with chronic kidney disease often have different depression and anxiety conditions, and with the increase of age and decline of kidney function, depression and anxiety degree is aggravated,so it is necessary to strengthen psychological intervention, reduce negative emotions, help to improve the prognosis of patients.
